An online shop isn't finished when the website is. Every day there are descriptions to write, a homepage to refresh, orders and refunds to handle, sales to understand.

On top of GlobalGameStore's new site we built the Studio, the shop's digital back room. Five AI agents work inside it, each with a job.

The problem: everything went through someone

Before, a lot of tasks needed a developer or a separate dashboard. The homepage was written in code, so changing a campaign meant asking for a change to the site. A refund meant logging into the payment provider's dashboard. The shop's numbers were scattered in different places.

Five agents, one job each

  • Nina, shop floor: stock, prices, orders and pickups, read live from the management system.
  • Ada, marketing: descriptions, In short summaries, the homepage showcase, banners and the blog.
  • Milo, numbers: what's selling, which products do best, how the month is going. Read-only.
  • Rita, shipping: delivery times and costs, pickup hours at the Bari shop.
  • Ivo, requests: turns a request from the shop into a ticket for us.

The agent prepares, a person approves

The shop's management system doesn't allow products and prices to be changed from outside. So the agents don't write directly: they prepare a proposal.

Proposals go into a queue. Someone in the shop reads them and publishes or discards them. Rita and Ivo work the same way: they show a draft first, and only write after a confirmation.

A dashboard with real numbers

The first version of the dashboard showed a placeholder figure. Now it tells the story of the real shop: sales over the last thirty days, stock, the strongest categories and catalogue quality, meaning how many products still lack a photo or a description.

Orders, cancellations and refunds

The Studio shows the site's orders with the status they have in the management system. From here an admin can press Cancel and refund.

The system asks for confirmation and shows the amount, refunds the customer using the same method they paid with, cancels the order and emails them. Nobody has to log into the payment dashboards any more.

The shop decides the homepage

A section of the Studio lets the shop switch homepage blocks on and off and reorder them, including the campaigns in the carousel. Ada can do the same from the chat.

The same goes for animated banners. The shop places them wherever it likes: between homepage bands, under a product page, at the top of a category or in the menu. The animation is already built into the code; the shop picks the text, images and links.

A search that understands questions

The site's search bar works in three ways and picks the right one by itself.

  1. Type a product name and the answer comes back in about ten milliseconds, with no AI involved.
  2. Ask a question, like "arcade games for Switch 2", and the AI works out the console, type of game, genre and price, then checks the entire catalogue. The answer says what it did: "I checked all 111 Switch 2 games".
  3. If the question is vaguer, like "something similar to Elden Ring", the AI picks the closest titles and explains why.

If there's nothing to find, the search says so. It doesn't fill the page with random results.

The same core as Studio Kyron

GlobalGameStore's Studio and Studio Kyron share the same core, which we built: sign-in, page structure, chat engine, look and feel. Each shop has its own agents and tools.

An improvement made once reaches both, and each client chooses when to update. A problem in one doesn't take the other down.

What changes for the shop

The agents prepare the repetitive work. Decisions stay with the people who know the products and the customers. The Studio is in testing alongside the site.

Takeaway

Five agents prepare the work, a person in the shop approves it. And shoppers can ask the site a real question instead of guessing a product's exact name.
